The Opportunity
In 2025, I got a chance to work with the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism — one of the biggest architecture exhibitions in Asia.
I joined the Façade of Time Team, a group collaborating with architects (many from Pratt Institute) on environmental design projects. My role started as a team member, but it grew into something more.

What I Did
Team Collaboration
I worked alongside professional architects and design students on façade concepts — the outer “skin” of buildings that affects energy efficiency, aesthetics, and environmental impact.

Interview & Exhibition
I was interviewed about my environmental work with GGTO and my perspective as a young person engaging with urban sustainability. That interview became part of the exhibition’s promotional materials.

Learning from Professionals
Working with Pratt-trained architects gave me a window into how design decisions affect cities at scale. It’s one thing to clean a drain; it’s another to design buildings that don’t create drainage problems in the first place.
What I Learned

Architecture isn’t just about buildings. It’s about systems — how water flows, how heat escapes, how people move through space.
The same mindset I bring to GGTO (fix the small thing before it becomes a big problem) applies to urban design. Prevention beats repair.
